Grewa-U
The Grewa-U ultrafiltration system provides complete point of entry (PoE) and Point of Discharge (PoD) filtration in a simple yet effective manner to reduce turbidity, particulates and cysts, for safer, cleaner water. The system incorporates a technology using an Ultrafiltration membrane to remove impurities <0.5 microns.
An electronically controlled flushing system is the core of this system. This maximises membrane capacity and service life. It operates such that self-cleaning back-flush cycles are initiated when the programmed capacity of the membrane is reached. Considering the importance of Energy Consumption, this system also incorporates the methodology of consuming power only for flushing. This ensures continuous operation even in case of Power Outages, Since interruptions could otherwise jeopardise the integrity of the membrane and their ability to provider safer, cleaner water. At times to facilitate cleaning CEB (Chemically Enhanced Backwash) is done to improve the longevity of the membrane.
Critical system diagnostics are a standard feature of this system. This helps in optimizing flushing cycles and helps to monitor performance in a real-time mode.
Grewa-U can be safely used in applications to solve water problems including high turbidity, suspended solids and certain microbiological contaminants.
